Sometimes its so painful watching NBA/NFL games..
I hate seeing a team start of strong, and not able to close out a game -___- sigh……. smh can’t deny KOBE always comes in clutch when it matters
…….. THOUGHT PROVOKING & BEAUTIFUL. Our society teaches us to make connections with people, where our sole reason for keeping them around or befriending them is because we know that they will be of some sort of help eventually. Society also teaches us to “treat people how they treat you”. What if someone is a blatant user? or has done you wrong in the past? …. what does your pride tell you? My pride tells me that I treat them the same, and when they need me I let them hang. After that, I feel some sort of satisfaction, why???? because I got “even”. That’s not a winners mentality. I should constantly do good, and even when I feel wronged…. help that same person when they are in need. Most people see this as Mr. nice guy getting taken advantage of. However if you really think about it the jokes on the other person ;)

I love letters, love letters at that ! Ain’t nothing old fashioned about it. Nowadays technology and social networks take away from that. People express themselves through long text messages or on social network inboxes? I mean thats all cool but theres something about a letter that makes it special and sentimental!. ^__^! <3

Sometimes you look at other people and you think they have it all. WRONG! some people may have it all but they’ll always have some type of struggle that may or may not be apparent. You see celebrities with all the money and luxuries in the world and they’re still unhappy. Why?. A reminder to myself first: I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ALWAYS BE KINDER THAN NECESSARY WHEN I SPEAK TO PEOPLE INSHALLAH.

Very true statement. I’ve always refrained, or at least tried not to hurt people who I love. Actually no, ANYONE. Thats the worst feeling to have on your conscious (knowing that you hurt someone). Don’t get me wrong I don’t like being hurt myself. However, I would rather get hurt than hurt someone else if that makes any sense? lol. I feel as if though I can handle it, even though it may be tough. I know someone people can’t handle being hurt, or having setbacks …… me however? I always bounce back Alhamdullilah. So I would rather be hurt than hurt someone else. How about ya’ll? if you had to choose would you hurt someone or would you be hurt?

Development of the Human Embryonic Brain from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
We were shown this video in class as part of a lecture on the biology of learning and memory. No matter how you look at it, it is impressive how much the brain grows in size, swelling with newly formed neurones who spread their fingerlike synapses impulsively through the far corners of the neurological system.
